Christmas...7 days early

Wow - with the holidays and work and Blake traveling, I have put off this post forever! I started it ages ago and now finally am posting!

Christmas morning came early in the Jungmeyer house.  Since we were in St. Louis on Christmas Day, Sophie celebrated Christmas with mom and dad at home so that Santa didn't have to haul down all of her toys to grandma's house.

After her parents finally got out of bed and retrieved her from her crib, Sophie ran into the living room. Staying true to her coy self, she pretended that the presents were not there. Instead, she kept pointing at the tree and the ornaments on the tree..until she finally went over and started to play with her new pink kitchen from grandma.  After some coaxing from mom and dad, she began to open presents and had a ball.  She is a very neat child and after each tear of the paper, she would hand it over to her dad to make sure he put it in the trash bag.  Since each toy grabbed her undivided attention, the process of unwrapping took a bit of time, but we enjoyed every minute.  Sophie had a such a fun morning!
